Digital invitation for a product launch: how to make it

A digital invitation puts your product launch on a link people open on their phone. Change the time or the address later and the same link already shows it

The sample unit arrives on Wednesday instead of Monday. The showroom door code changes on Thursday morning. And the link you sent on Tuesday evening is already sitting on sixty phones. That is the part nobody plans for when they sit down to work out how to make a product launch invitation: the invitation goes out while the product is still moving. A digital invitation handles it, because it is a page and not a file. You can build it and send it today from the catalogue, then change it tonight without chasing a single guest.

It opens in a browser on a phone, a tablet or a laptop. Nothing to install, nothing to download, no attachment that ends up in spam. The press contact, the distributor and the customer who follows you on Instagram all get the same link and all see the same version. You can test the design for free first: in test mode you edit the cover without paying, and buying unlocks the rest of the scenes.

How to create a product launch invitation: lead with the product

Open the cover with one photo of the product and a label of three words. If the model is called Aura 2, the label reads Aura 2 is here, not a paragraph about the roadmap. Keep the sentence for one promise you can actually keep, like the first time you get to hold it. The address, the timing and the dress code have their own fields further down. Before you settle on wording, watch the character counter in the editor: a product name plus a date can eat the whole line on a small phone.

  • One product photo on the cover, cropped tight, plus a three-word label.
  • Date, time and place in separate fields, with the map right next to them.
  • One sentence that promises the experience instead of the full spec sheet.
  • A link or QR code you have opened on a real phone before sending it.

A digital invitation that holds up when the date moves

You share it as a link or a QR code: on the screen in the shop, in a message to the press list, in an Instagram story. One payment of 29,99 EUR and the page is live, in Spanish, English, Catalan, French, Italian, Portuguese or German, with the invitation content set per language. That last part matters when buyers, distributors and journalists are standing in the same room.

If the launch slips an hour on the day, you change the time in the editor and the same link shows the new version. Nobody gets a correction email. New address, new map, new dress code, a cover photo taken that morning from the six you uploaded: same link, same QR code on the shop door. That is the practical argument for digital invitations over a card that was perfect when it left the printer.

The product is the news. The invitation is the one part of the launch you can still fix at eight in the morning.

RSVPs land in one list, not forty chats

Confirmations arrive inside the invitation and you read them in one ordered list, so whoever is booking the chairs knows the number without opening forty conversations. Set the questions yourself: if the presentation runs twice, ask which session people are coming to instead of chasing answers by message later. One honest line about paper, too. The invitation is fully digital, so nothing is printed or posted; if the brand team wants a copy for the archive, print three yourself and keep the link for everyone else. Pick a design, try the cover for free and publish the link the morning the product is ready for its photo.
