Digital Corporate Event Invitations vs Mass Email

Six weeks before a corporate event in Berlin, you send a mass email. Company logo at the top, a PDF attached, the date in the subject line. Two days later, someone from the Munich office asks what time it starts. A colleague answers I am in, halfway down a thread you stopped reading. The file on your desktop is called invite_final_v3, because the keynote moved.

Nobody did anything wrong here. The problem is where the information lives. A digital corporate event invitation is a page of its own, and that page is where guests go back to, instead of an inbox with 40 unread messages.

A mass email announces; a digital corporate event invitation receives

An email with a logo and an attached PDF makes people hunt. Date, time, venue, dress code: all of it sits somewhere between the header and page two. A digital corporate event invitation is a web page, so the first screen holds the name of the event, the date and the photo you picked. If guests are travelling from Hamburg or Munich, the map and the dress code are right there, and nobody has to write a second message for every person who asks.

  • One link instead of an attachment: it opens in any browser, with no app to install.
  • Guests from Hamburg or Munich see the venue, the map and the start time on the same scene.
  • Share it as a QR code or a message, and the link stays the same for everyone.
  • Event name, date and photo on the cover, with up to six of your own photos framed for you.

RSVPs that never get chased through WhatsApp

Confirmations arrive inside the invitation, in one ordered list. Not scattered across emails that say I will be there and WhatsApp messages with a thumbs up. You choose what the form asks: name, whether they are coming, and whatever else you need to plan the room.

Your team reads the same list on the same link. Nobody rebuilds it from screenshots at 11pm, and nobody copies names out of a group chat the night before.

The mass email tells people something. The invitation is the place they come back to.

If the keynote moves, the dinner starts an hour later or the venue changes, you edit the invitation and the link stays the same. Change the time, the place, the map, the dress code or the closing line: guests see the updated version, not the one you sent on Monday. There is nothing to reprint and no second round of covers. Nobody turns up with an old PDF open on their phone.

Berlin does not fit in a PDF attachment

A digital invitation is built in scenes: cover with a photo, a line about the venue, the programme, dinner, the last drink. Each scene takes its own text and photos, and you can add up to six of your own. They frame themselves, and you mark which one is the cover. Swap any photo later. Music and the RSVP questions are part of the invitation too, so the link is something guests open rather than a file they download and forget.

If the goal is a full room, a Send The Joy invitation keeps the details and the confirmations on one page: 29.99 EUR, paid once, no subscription. Guests need no app, just a phone, a tablet or a laptop with a connection. Try it free in test mode, edit the cover, unlock the scenes when you buy and publish when the event is ready.
