Corporate Event Aquarium Price in Lisbon: Real Costs
Here's what you actually pay to hire an aquarium in Lisbon for a company night — and how to keep the invitation off the printing bill.

It's a Thursday evening in Lisbon and you're standing in front of the big acrylic panel with a glass of white wine in your hand. Someone from finance comes over and asks what the corporate event aquarium price actually comes to. You don't have the number yet. The quote in your inbox covers the room — and not much else.
Aquarium hire in Lisbon is quoted by the slot, and the tanks are only part of the bill. Zones, staff hours, catering and the time nobody counts sit on separate lines. Here's what you're really paying for.
What drives the corporate event aquarium price
Three things move the number: when you book, which space you use, and how long people stay. A weekday morning between school groups is priced differently from a night with the aquarium closed to the public. A dinner beside the main tank is a different zone from an open hall upstairs. And the people working the floor are billed by the hour, not by the event.
- Time slot first. Ask for the after-hours surcharge on a night with the aquarium closed to the public, and get the figure in writing.
- Zones are quoted separately. Open hall, corridor facing the tank, dinner next to the great acrylic panel — ask for the floor plan and what each space includes.
- Staff runs by the hour. Hosts, security and cleaning are usually quoted apart from the room; confirm how many hours the base rate covers.
- Whatever the base rate leaves out gets charged later: VAT, tips, extra security, access to reserved areas.
Dinner is billed per head
Catering is quoted per guest, and you need to know what sits inside that figure. Drinks, service and tip may or may not be part of it. A cocktail hour, an open bar and extra coffee land on separate lines at the bottom of the page.
If there's a speech, a video or live music, you need microphones, a screen and someone to run them. The quote should say whether the aquarium supplies the kit or your supplier brings it. Flowers, signage and a photo wall are extras as well — reusing the same look on your invitation and on the venue screens means fewer pieces to pay for.

The venue quote is a starting point. The total is the breakdown you asked for.
The hours nobody budgets for
A four-hour event can hold the space for eight. You need time to build the room and time to clear it, so ask when you can get in and when you have to be out. Guest lists move too: every name in or out changes capacity, catering and seating, and one shared list keeps everyone on the same numbers. Leave room for two extra guests and one more hour of technical support, so you're not signing an on-site extra at midnight.
The invitation doesn't need a printing budget
With printed stationery, one change of time or venue means reprinting and resending. A digital invitation is a page with its own link: edit it after sending and guests see the current version. Confirmations arrive inside the invitation in one ordered list, so nobody chases replies on WhatsApp. Send The Joy costs 29,99 EUR per invitation as a one-off payment, shared by link, QR or message, and guests reply from their phone without installing an app.
Before you sign, get the real breakdown and add the hours you'll spend managing it. The guest side doesn't have to bring hidden costs: create your digital invitation for 29,99 EUR and share it with a QR code.
