Wedding Anniversary Invitation Template: Fill It Yourself

Pick a design, fill in five fields, and publish one link. Here's which field to write first, and why last-minute changes don't mean a second message.

Three weeks before your parents' silver wedding, the family group chat does what it always does. One cousin asks what time it starts. Another wants to know if a tie is expected. A third saw the photo you sent as a screenshot, and it came out cropped and unreadable.

None of this needs a designer, a PDF, or a file you forward to forty people. A wedding anniversary invitation template handles the layout; you fill in the fields and publish a link. Here is the order that saves you the most back-and-forth.

Wedding anniversary invitation template: fill the fields first

Before you fuss over the design, write the five base fields: label, names, date, phrase, and place. 'Silver wedding · Marta and Julian · Saturday 14 June, 8:30 pm · La Era restaurant' is roughly 80% of the work. Watch the character counter as you type: 'Celebrating 25 years together' stays on one line, while 'Celebrating twenty-five years of love, laughter, and endless patience' breaks the layout on a phone. Leave the place until last. If the restaurant hasn't confirmed, write the city only and change it later.

  • The exact label you want in the link preview: 'Silver wedding', '25 years', or both names.
  • The date with the day of the week and the time. 'Saturday 14 June, 8:30 pm' kills the usual is-it-lunch-or-dinner question.
  • A place people recognise: venue name, city, and the map or address for anyone who hasn't been there.
  • The RSVP questions you'll actually use: attendance and number of guests, nothing more.

The label is what your guests read in WhatsApp

When the link lands in the family group, the preview shows the label. If it reads 'Silver wedding' or '25 years', nobody has to ask what the celebration is. Test two versions in trial mode before you commit: 'Our silver wedding' sounds like a celebration, '25th anniversary' sounds like a form. The first one invites a reply. Check it on your phone, not just your laptop.

The phrase goes underneath the label, on the invitation itself, not in the WhatsApp message. One short line beats a paragraph: 'Bring your best memory of that day.'

The label gets the link opened. The fields decide whether anyone has to ask a follow-up question.

In trial mode you edit the cover without paying: type the real names, see how they sit on your own phone, and judge the design with your own text instead of a generic demo. One invitation is EUR 29.99, paid once, with no subscription, and buying unlocks every scene in the invitation, each with its own words and photos. If the restaurant moves the time or the dress code changes, you edit the field and the link stays the same. No second message with corrections. Replies arrive inside the invitation, in one ordered list. Guests open the link in any browser and answer from their phone; there's no app to install. One honest note: this is digital, so nothing gets printed or posted. If someone in the family wants a copy for a frame, send the link to everyone and print a handful for the people who will keep them. Start in trial mode, personalize the cover for free, and unlock the rest when the result convinces you.
