In a Lisbon kitchen at five in the afternoon, the tea is still warm and the phone is propped against the sugar bowl. A grandmother taps a link and the invitation opens in her browser. She stretches it with two fingers until she can read the date without her glasses.

That is what Lisbon baby shower invitations have to do here: open in one tap, in the middle of a conversation that already started in the family group. The shortest path between the message and the date is the one people take. Everything else is decoration.

Lisbon Baby Shower Invitations Start With the Hour

The hour decides the rest. Five o'clock means chá, pastries and a long table after. Seven o'clock is a different party: half your guests are already thinking about dinner for their kids. Pick the time first, and say in the same sentence what it is for.

  • Pick 17:00 and explain it right there: tea and pastries afterwards.
  • Send it to the family group with three words and a link. Nobody wants to install anything to find out what the baby will be called.
  • Write it in Portuguese, with the names exactly as the family says them at home.
  • Print the QR from that same invitation and stick it on the fridge door, next to the shopping list.

The link goes into the same message where you write "é às cinco", so the time and the invitation travel together. Nobody has to go looking for anything later. Guests open it on a phone, a tablet or a laptop and reply inside the invitation itself, in a list you can read at a glance.

And if someone in the family wants paper, they are not left out. Print the QR of that same invitation and hand it over. They keep their copy on the shelf; everyone else keeps the link you sent by WhatsApp.

One link, written in the names you actually use, answered from the phone in your hand.

Names, Date and One Sentence

A cover photo of the bump, or of the grandparents' hands on the table, and up to five more spread through the scenes. They frame themselves, and you can swap any of them later. The character counter quietly saves you from the "Maria Eduarda" that gets cut off because the name did not fit. And keep the line short: "Vem conhecer o nosso menino" stays with people; ten lines about how happy you are do not.

Changing the Time Doesn't Mean Resending Anything

If the place in Alfama confirms 17:30 instead of 17:00, you edit the invitation and the link stays the same. Nobody gets a new message, and nobody has to work out which version was right. Confirmations arrive inside the invitation, in order, so you are not chasing anyone on WhatsApp the night before. You set the questions yourself: yes, no, and a line to leave a message for the mum. Music too.

Start with the hour, then the name, then the sentence. Choose a design, try it free, and publish the invitation before the tea goes cold. Whatever you change after that shows up on the same link.
