Golden wedding anniversary invitations: what you pay

What the €29.99 actually covers, what it leaves out, and how to change the toast time without reprinting a single card.

What the €29.99 actually covers, what it leaves out, and how to change the toast time without reprinting a single card.

The cards arrive on a Thursday. On Friday the restaurant calls: the back room is free at 1:30, not 2:00. Now there are eighty printed invitations on the kitchen table with the wrong hour on them, plus four cousins whose names were added in pen after the first run. The stack cost real money, and half of it is already out of date.

A digital invitation for a golden wedding anniversary skips the second printing. You open the editor in your browser, change the hour, and the link you already sent shows 1:30. No envelopes, no reprint, no calls to explain the change.

Golden wedding anniversary invitations: €29.99, paid once

The price is one payment per invitation. Not a subscription, not a monthly fee, not a charge per guest you add to the list. You can try it before paying: in test mode you edit the cover for free, and buying unlocks every scene, from the first one through the long dinner to the last dance.

  • €29.99 once. No monthly fee, and nothing added per guest.
  • Free test mode: you edit the cover without paying. Buying unlocks all the scenes.
  • No per-unit maths: you are not ordering eighty cards, buying stamps or paying for a second run when the toast moves.
  • Guests install nothing. They open the link in a browser, phone or tablet, and reply from there.

If the toast slides from 2:00 to 1:30, printed cards become scrap. In Joy Studio you type the new time and everyone who opens the link reads 1:30. The restaurant, the map, the dress code, the line about the two of you: change any of them after sending and the link stays the same. Nothing gets resent.

You share it by message, email or QR code. The grandchildren open it on a phone, the older cousins on a tablet, and nobody has to install an app. That is also the honest limit: it is digital. If you want paper on the table, the sensible mix is one link for everybody and a few printed copies for the people who will keep one in a drawer. Extra paper costs money every time. An edit does not.

Change the hour as often as you need. The link stays exactly where it is.

Confirmations land in one list, not in your messages

Replies arrive inside the invitation, in an ordered list, so nobody counts heads across a WhatsApp thread. You set the questions before publishing: is a partner coming, will they stay for the long dinner. With the numbers in front of you, booking the table at the restaurant takes one call instead of twenty.

What €29.99 includes, and what stays out

Included: up to six of your own photos, with the 1975 wedding photo marked as the cover and the rest spread across the scenes, framing themselves. One text box per item, an eyebrow line, names, date, phrase and place, with a character counter and a preview that updates as you type. Music, and the RSVP questions you choose. The site runs in seven languages, Spanish, English, Catalan, French, Italian, Portuguese and German, and the invitation content can be set per language for relatives abroad. Not included: paper, printing, postage, and automatic reminders to the guests who have not answered.

For €29.99 you know exactly what you are paying for: a page of your own for the anniversary, editable until the last minute, with the confirmations in the same place. Pick a design, test the cover for free, and publish once the time of the toast is settled.
