Gender Reveal Invitations With Live Voting Built In
A live vote inside your gender reveal invitation. Guests pick Team Boy or Team Girl when they RSVP, and the running count is still there on the day.

Instead of a gender reveal invitation with live voting, you set up a group chat. The poll starts fine: 12 votes for Team Boy, 9 for Team Girl. Then someone opens a second poll in the family thread. Your aunt sends a voice note saying boy, which nobody counts. Your cousin replies "girl!!" to the wrong conversation. Two people change their minds and vote again without saying so. The night before the party you have three lists, one screenshot and no clear number.
A vote built into the invitation takes the sorting out of it. Guests pick a team when they confirm they're coming, and every answer lands in one list you can open whenever you like.
Live voting inside a gender reveal invitation
When you set up the RSVP, you add a question with two options: Team Boy and Team Girl. The guest answers it in the same form they use to say they're coming. No second message, no separate poll, no chasing replies the day before. The question is configured in Joy Studio, next to the texts and photos.
- Add the question in Joy Studio: two options, Team Boy and Team Girl.
- Answers arrive inside the invitation, in one ordered list. Nothing to count in WhatsApp.
- You decide whether the running tally stays private or is visible to everyone who opens the link.
- Change the wording or add an option later — the link stays the same.
A count that doesn't get lost in the chat
If a guest votes at 22:14, the answer is on the list. The next morning it's still there. The list keeps its order, so the first vote sits at the top and the last one of the night sits at the bottom. You're not scrolling back through messages to work out who said what before you order the cake.
You can run the vote and the headcount on the same form: "Are you coming?" and "What do you think it'll be?" Editing afterwards doesn't mean resending anything. The link stays the same and guests see the updated version.

The vote lives inside the invitation, so the reveal doesn't depend on who scrolled back far enough.
Colours and photos that announce the vote
Design a cover with a blue-to-pink gradient, or mint and coral confetti, so the theme reads before anyone votes. You can upload up to six of your own photos: the scan, the nursery before the boxes are unpacked, the older siblings in their Team Boy and Team Girl shirts. Mark one as the cover, and swap it later if you take a better shot at the party.
On the day: the result in your hand
Open the invitation on a tablet or put the link on a screen so guests can watch the list before the reveal. If you'd rather keep the suspense, check the list on your phone and announce the winner when you decide to. The final scene takes the name you've chosen and the date. Nothing gets reprinted, and nobody installs an app — the same link opens in any browser.
Set up your digital invitation, switch on the live vote and let your guests pick a team before the reveal. It's 29.99 EUR for the invitation, one payment and no subscription. Try the cover for free, personalise every scene and publish with one link.
