Half your guest list is coming from three hours away. One cousin lands at 4pm, two friends drive down on the Saturday morning, and an aunt has asked twice whether there is a coach. Wedding guest transport is where the questions pile up, and a digital invitation is the one place where the answers stay put. You can build and send yours today from the collection.

The tricky part is rarely the ceremony. It is everything around it: who gets on the coach, where everyone sleeps, what time the last one comes back, and who is counting. Write those down properly, in a place people can find, and the weekend runs itself.

Wedding guest transport: the coach first, the map second

Write the departure time with a place and a spot, not a mood. 'Departure 5:30pm · Plaza de Cibeles, stand by the kiosk' tells a guest and a driver the same thing. 'The coach leaves in the afternoon' tells them nothing. If there is a second coach, give it its own line and its own time.

  • Departure and return time for each coach, with the exact spot: the stand, the gate, the roundabout.
  • Name, phone number and drive time for two or three places to stay near the venue.
  • Parking notes, or the local landmark people use when the satnav gives up.
  • Who takes the coach bookings, and the number to message to claim a seat.

Somewhere to sleep: three options and one breakfast

Out-of-town guests do not need forty hotels. They need three you have actually checked, with a real distance: 'Hotel A, 10 minutes by car. Guesthouse B, 25 minutes. Hotel C, at the motorway exit.' That is enough for someone to book in ten minutes.

If you have rooms held, write the exact name the guest has to give when booking, and the date the rooms are released. Then name a meeting point for the morning after — 'breakfast in the square, 11am' — because that is what turns a table of people who have never met into a group.

The bus time is the question everyone asks at eleven at night. Put it where they can find it without asking you.

A digital invitation keeps the times current

Venue, map and coach times can be changed after you have sent the link, and the link stays the same. Nobody is left holding a screenshot from March with the old departure time on it. Each scene takes its own text and photos, so you can build one scene for getting to the venue with the map, and another for the coach times with a photo of the coach waiting at the door. Guests open it in their phone browser — nothing to install — on the train, in the taxi, or in the hotel corridor at two in the morning.

Confirmations without chasing anyone on WhatsApp

Replies arrive inside the invitation, in one ordered list, so you are not scrolling through forty messages to count heads. You set the questions on the confirmation form to whatever you need for the day. If the last coach moves to 2:30am, you change it on a Tuesday, and anyone who opens the link on Friday sees the new time.

If a few guests do not use a phone, print their copy with the coach times and a contact number, and send everyone else the link or a QR code. When a time changes, only the paper is out of date. One link holds the map, the coach times and the confirmations, for 29.99 EUR, paid once, with no subscription.
