Pick a template, swap the text and photos, and publish your invitation the same day. Here's what to personalise for each celebration.

It's 10pm. You have a guest list in a note on your phone, a photo of the two of you on a rooftop in July, and no idea how to turn any of it into an invitation. You open a design app, stare at a blank canvas for twenty minutes and close the tab. Digital invitation templates exist for that exact moment.

A template skips the blank canvas. Someone has already decided where the names sit, how the date lines up underneath, how the photos frame themselves. Your job is to fill in the fields in a browser, without opening Photoshop once.

Digital invitation templates: set the name first, then the typeface

Go field by field: the label at the top ("Marta's birthday"), the names, the date, the line under it, the place. If you don't know the venue yet, leave it empty — the layout holds. There's a character counter on each field, so you find out before you publish that "Our wedding · 14 June · Finca La Alameda" fits and a three-line paragraph doesn't. The preview updates as you type: change 6pm to 7.30pm and you see it without reloading the page.

  • The label and the names written exactly as you want them on the cover — nicknames included.
  • Date, time and address, with the map opened once and checked before you send anything.
  • The one photo people recognise at a glance as your cover, chosen from the six you upload.
  • Your RSVP questions decided in advance: how many, and what you actually need to know.

Six photos, one cover that does the work

You can upload up to six of your own photos: one cover, the rest decoration. Each one sits into its frame on its own, so there's no cropping by hand and no guessing at ratios. The cover is the one that has to pull its weight. A table set for dinner says less than a photo of the two of you mid-laugh at a barbecue.

Nothing is locked in after you publish. If a better picture turns up — the rehearsal dinner, the park, the first dance — you swap it in and the link you already sent stays the same. Nobody gets a second message about it.

A template doesn't make the invitation personal. Your names, your date and that one good photo do.

Every celebration wants a different template

A wedding reads better as linked scenes — Threshold of Lime, Arch of Promises, Last Dance — with an RSVP that asks whether guests are staying for Sunday brunch. A children's party needs one short line, a bit of music and a single confirmation question, so nobody gets lost between the park and the cake. A long-table dinner puts the restaurant, the map and the dress code in the same scene; if the restaurant changes, you edit it and no one has to forward anything.

The RSVP lives inside the invitation

Replies land in a list inside the invitation itself, so you can see who's coming without scrolling back through a group chat. You choose the questions — name, number of guests, a short note — and people answer from their phone without installing an app. You publish with one button, and the link stays live: change the time, the venue or a line of text and guests see the updated version straight away. If someone wants paper, print a few copies for the people who will keep them. Everyone else gets the link.
