Twelve people, forty-five square metres, one bathroom and a group chat that has been going since Tuesday. Someone asks the time. Someone asks what to bring. Someone answers a question nobody asked. Then someone suggests a digital invitation and the thread goes quiet, because nobody wants to be the one who has to build it.

So build it. Pick a design from the collection, type in your own date, address and phrase, drop in a couple of photos, hit publish. Digital invitations cost 29,99 EUR as a one-off payment, no subscription, and you can have this one finished and sent today.

Put the time first, the mystery second

Open with the line everyone is scrolling for: "Saturday 1 November, 10:30 pm, third floor, buzzer 2." The crow stuff comes on the second line, once people know where they'll be standing at half past ten. Three lines and a link: what it is, where it is, when to reply by.

  • The full address in the first message: street, number, floor, which buzzer. Not a map pin dropped into the chat at eleven at night.
  • The size, before anyone asks: "twelve of us in 45 m², standing room, the balcony fits three at a time."
  • One thing to bring each: a candle, a lantern, a cardboard crow. It decorates the flat and gives shy people a job at the door.
  • Dress code in five words: black, feathers, comfortable shoes.

How to create a digital invitation for a Halloween crow party

A digital invitation is a web page for your event, not a PDF and not a picture in the chat. You share a link or a QR code, guests open it in the browser on their phone, install nothing and confirm from the same page. Nobody downloads an app for one night in a flat.

In the editor you fill one field per detail: headline, names, date, phrase, place, with a preview that updates as you type. Up to six photos of your own — one cover, the rest decorating the scenes — and you can swap the cover later. Replies arrive inside the invitation in one list, and you write the RSVP questions yourself before sending. If the plan moves, edit it: the link stays the same and nothing has to be sent out again.

The invitation that spells out the floor, the buzzer and the reply deadline is the one that actually gets answered.

Twelve people in 45 m²: the invitation doubles as a floor plan

A flat asks for details a rented venue never does. Which buzzer, which floor, whether the lift fits two people in coats, where the jackets go (the bed, and everyone knows it). Write it down and you skip four messages. Then close the night on the invitation with a line that's a joke and also true: "at 2 am we blow out the candles and open a window." The neighbours get a warning. So does whoever is working on Sunday.

Keep the tone playful, not gory — "bring your crow" does more for a small living room than anything scary taped to the door. Choose the design, try the cover for free, publish the link this afternoon, and the party is half organised before the first candle is lit.
