It starts the same way every time. Someone creates a group chat called "Bachelorette — final version". Three days later there are 200 messages, two people still think it is just dinner, one has already booked flights, and nobody agrees on the date. A digital invitation cuts through that: pick a design from the collection, add the names, the date and the city, and send one link today.

You are not planning for one group of friends. You are planning for the school crowd who have known her since she was eleven, the work crowd who have never met her sister, and family who will ask about the dress code twice. Nobody has to bond before the weekend. Everyone needs the same date, the same city and the same photos in the same place.

Three groups, one bachelorette party: names instead of broadcast

Write the guest list down before you decide anything else. Not for the headcount — for the patterns. Mark who already knows whom, and you will see quickly whether this is a long dinner, a hen do in another city or a full weekend away. Then send one message with the date, the city and the invitation link, and stop answering the same question three times in three chats.

  • Write the three groups on paper: school, work, family. Mark who has met before.
  • Choose the plan from the list you actually have, not the one you would like to have.
  • Send one message with date, city and link. Not three chats with three versions of the plan.
  • Pin the invitation at the top of the chat so nobody scrolls back for the meeting point.

The invitation is a web page of its own. Not a PDF, not a picture in the chat. Your guests open the link or scan a QR code in any browser on a phone, tablet or laptop — no app to install, nothing to download. They confirm from the same page, and the replies land in one ordered list inside the invitation, so you are not chasing yeses across three apps.

Things change, and that is the point. If the flight time moves, the restaurant puts you on a later sitting, or the plan switches from black to pink, you edit the invitation and the link stays exactly the same. No re-sending, no printing, no second file called "FINAL v2". The dress code, the map and the phrase on the cover are all changed in the same place.

One link, three groups, and the same plan for everyone.

Icebreakers, photos and scenes that mix school, work and family

The first night is easier when people arrive with something to talk about. Pin the link, then ask everyone for one old photo with the bride. You can add up to six photos of your own — one cover and five decorative ones — and they frame themselves. Set an RSVP question such as "Which song cannot be missing?" or "Dinner or afternoon out?", so answers arrive with something to work with, not just a yes. On the invitation itself, spell out the minimum: departure time, meeting point, shirt colour. Then choose a design, fill in the text fields and share the link. Everything you change later happens on the same page.
