Campervan wedding invitations: map and parking in one link

Where the campervan parks, where it sleeps and how many spaces to reserve, all inside one wedding invitation link that stays up to date.

It's past midnight and a seven-metre campervan has stopped on a gravel track. The sat nav says you have arrived. Ahead there's a chest-high barrier, a stone wall on one side and no lights. The campervan wedding invitation on the passenger's phone says "parking next to the venue". Nobody in the van knows which side of the wall that means, or where they are sleeping.

That isn't a guest problem. It's a detail that either lives inside the invitation or turns into a phone call at 2am. Campervan wedding invitations can hold the arrival point, the place to sleep and the number of vehicles you're expecting, all behind the same link your guests already have open.

What a campervan wedding invitation has to answer first

Before you choose a design or settle the menu, three numbers decide whether a van actually gets in: the height of the barrier, whether the ground is gravel or asphalt, and how far it sleeps from a power hookup. A campervan stands around three metres tall. Nothing that size reverses happily down a slope in the dark.

  • Barrier height and gate width, in metres, written as numbers instead of "a bit narrow".
  • The exact arrival point and the exact place to sleep, with a map link or coordinates you can copy into a sat nav.
  • Power hookups: how many there are, and how far they sit from where people sleep.
  • Your own RSVP question: how many campervans are coming, and how long is each one.

One exact pin, not "next to the venue"

A map link or a pair of coordinates beats the sentence "it's right by the house". Campervan sat navs often read coordinates more reliably than a rural road name that three villages share. Pin the service entrance as well: emptying grey water or filling the fresh tank shouldn't be discovered on Sunday morning, with the van already packed.

Then chain the scenes in the order your guests will live them: arrival and unloading, ceremony, last dance. A photo of the real entrance in the arrival scene does more than an address, because a gate is recognised faster by sight than by name. You can add your own photos and choose which one is the cover, so the arrival shot is the first thing they see. Times, place, map and texts stay editable after you send, and the link itself doesn't change.

A campervan doesn't need a prettier invitation. It needs a barrier height, a pin and a pitch.

The RSVP counts parking spaces too

Add your own question to the confirmation form: are you coming in a campervan, and how long is it? The answers land in one ordered list inside the invitation, not spread across group chats you have to rebuild by hand. Guests open the link in a browser, so there's nothing to install. With those numbers in front of you, the call to the campsite or the motorhome area turns from an estimate into a booking.

If the overnight area moves three days before the wedding, you edit the map and the link stays the same. Nobody reprints anything, nobody gets a message one by one, and the driver's phone and the passenger's both show the current version. You can try a design for free and publish your invitation for 29.99 EUR, one payment, with the map editable until the morning of the wedding.
