Baby Shower Invitations at a Market: Stall, Ticket, Time

A market baby shower runs on stalls and times, not on a single address. Here is how to put the stall, the ticket and the snack hour on the invitation.

Baby shower invitations at a market run on stalls and times, not on one address. Picture the group chat at 12:20 on Saturday: four guests at the wrong gate with the invitation open on their phones, because 'Central Market' tells them which building, not which counter. Thirty stalls, two aisles, and a flower stand your sister swears is right by the entrance.

Stall, ticket and time. Three details, each with its own field on the invitation. Write them once and nobody spends the morning walking the aisles looking for a table that was never booked.

Baby shower invitations at a market start with one stall

Use the name exactly as it appears on the stall's own sign, then add the aisle and the nearest street door. 'Stall 14, flower aisle, next to the south street door' tells a guest more than the market's name ever will. Give a meeting point you can spot from ten metres away, because half the group will arrive before you: the bar with the blue sign, the bench beside the fruit crates. Everyone reads the same line, so nobody has to guess which of the two coffee bars you meant.

  • Market name, stall number, the aisle and the nearest street door.
  • A meeting point you can spot from a distance: 'the bar with the blue sign'.
  • Arrival time and snack time as two separate fields, never one.
  • What the snack ticket covers, which stalls accept it and the hour it stops.

Announce the snack ticket before anyone reaches the bar

Decide now whether there is a snack ticket per person or everyone pays their own, and put the answer on the invitation without softening it. 'One cheese board and one drink each, at stall 8 until 2pm' is clear. 'We'll sort something out' is not. Name the two or three stalls where the ticket works, so nobody crosses the whole market holding a piece of paper.

Give two times, not one. At noon a market has room at the bar; at 2pm it has a queue. Guests with small children need an end point too — 'we're heading off around 3:30' — and if the market shortens its hours that week, you move the snack time in the invitation and the link shows the new version.

Three stops, three scenes

Scene one, meeting at the entrance: a photo of the market sign and the exact time. Scene two, the cheese stall: the ticket details and the stall that accepts it. Scene three, the toast on the terrace: a photo of the long table and the short line you'll say before the first glass. Each scene takes its own text and photos, and you choose which picture becomes the cover.

The market sets the scene. The invitation sets the order: stall, ticket, time, each in its own field.

Stall 14 moves to 22 because of roadworks. You edit the invitation and the same link shows the change, so no rounds of messages and no reprinting. Confirmations arrive inside the invitation in an ordered list, and guests reply from their phone without installing anything. Pick a design from the collection, try it free, then publish it with one button: 29.99 EUR, paid once. The market is already there. Only the link is missing.
